For The Charlotte Observer, the Clipa instant handbag hanger is a top pick for travel gifts. The new Crystal Clipa Collection was featured in this morning’s article: “your gal can glam up her handbag, tote or backpack (and keep it off the floor) with luggage jewelry in polished silver, gold or hematite, triple plated for durability and catching the light with six sparkly Swarovski crystals. When not on your bag, Clipa can be slipped onto the wrist.” Check it out:The Clipa Purse Hanger: Top Pick for Travelers

Readers Digest Canada July 2010
This month’s issue of Reader’s Digest Canada features the Clipa instant handbag hanger in the RD Travel section. A photo shows the Clipa purse hook on the bag strap and hanging from a “tabletop” that doubles as the title. The article says “use tabletop hooks to hang your purse safely in front of you instead of slinging it over the back of your chair or leaving it on the floor.”

We were a finalist in the 2009 Spark Awards International Design Competition. Nike, Fuse Project and IDEO won the competition but were were pleased to make it into the finals with our Clipa purse hanger.
Today we attended the awards celebration for Excellence in Entrepreneurship. We were honored to be nominated for the award after being in business for only 9 months. Mike’s previous company, Tectrix Fitness Equipment, Inc. received the 1995 Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award for Manufacturing in Orange County, California a year after being nominated. Sometimes it takes a few nominations to make it to the top. Congratulations to the five EIE winners for 2010!
